The District observes the following holidays each year and our offices are officially closed if the holiday falls on the actual holiday or on the holiday observance.  If the holiday is on a Saturday, it will be observed the Friday before. If the holiday is on a Sunday, the holiday is observed on the Monday following the holiday.
